SMS Opt-In Process

This page documents, end to end, how every recipient of our text messages consents before receiving them. Messages are sent by Keyway, the transaction-update software used by Raven Real Estate, and contain transactional status updates about the recipient’s own active real estate transaction. Every message identifies Keyway as the sender. Message frequency varies with transaction activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, HELP for help. Mobile numbers are never shared with third parties.

Step 1Consent, attested in the deal form

During in-person transaction onboarding, the client provides their mobile number to their licensed real estate agent and agrees to receive text updates about their transaction. The agent then records the transaction in Keyway (agent software, behind login). The form cannot be submitted without checking this mandatory consent attestation — unchecked by default — reproduced below exactly as it appears in the app. The attestation date and time is permanently recorded.

Step 2One invitation text — nothing recurring yet

Each transaction participant receives exactly one invitation SMS, personalized with the inviting agent’s name. These are the actual messages (client invitations are also localized into Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian, Romanian, Polish, and Bengali):

To the client
Keyway: Vlad Kruk (Raven) invited you to follow your transaction at 1284 Maple Ct. See it live: https://keywayapp.com/t/… Reply YES to get a text at each step. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
To the loan officer
Keyway: Vlad Kruk (Raven) invited you to update loan status for 1284 Maple Ct with one tap: https://keywayapp.com/l/… Reply YES to also get status texts for this deal. Reply STOP to opt out.
To the cooperating (listing) agent

The links work whether or not the recipient opts in — opting in is only for receiving texts.

Step 3Recurring messages start only after a YES reply

No recurring messages are sent unless and until the recipient replies YES (or Y / START). The reply is recorded with a timestamp and acknowledged:

Confirmation (also localized for clients)
You’re set — you’ll get updates for 1284 Maple Ct. Reply STOP to end.

From then on, the recipient gets a short status text when a transaction milestone completes, for example:

Example status update
Keyway: update on 1284 Maple Ct — Appraisal complete. See what this means: https://keywayapp.com/t/…

Step 4Opting out

Replying STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) at any time immediately and automatically stops all further messages to that number. Replying HELP returns assistance information. Opt-outs are recorded per recipient and honored for every future message.
